Painting a Day 228

Today's painting was actually an exercise in speed-painting, not that I'm proud of trying to dash something off in a hurry, but sometimes I spend too long mulling things over and not just getting down to it.. So I decided to start with a water scene because I think I'm most comfortable with those, and I put this one together in about 10-15 minutes.

Painting a Day 223

Today is somewhat cooler, thankfully, because our air-conditioning is only working in fits and starts.  Ah well, one more opportunity for grace.  The clouds this morning were heavy with impending thunderstorms, somewhat like this ...

Paintings up to 220

So today marks the day when I am finally up to date.  I am posting today's painting today, not tomorrow.  I have painted in the morning instead of waiting until the kids are in bed.  Now just to get some inspiration.  I feel like I've exhausted my fruit theme for the moment, hence the middle painting below:

Cool Me Down, acrylic on canvas board, 8" x 10"

Fruit Splat, acrylic on canvas board, 8" x 10"

Summer, acrylic canvas board, 8" x 10"
